X-ray training skull, known as a Phantom! It is a real human skull, encased in lucite. The resin casts the shape of a full head on the x-ray images, giving a much more realistic diagnostic experience than a skull alone would provide.
These specimen were created by the company 3M and are now part of the Human Skull Store collection!
