This was one of the commercially available bone boxes produced by the company Adam, Rouilly. Typically these boxes would be purchased by medical students to further their studies. The piece is composed of half of a skeleton, including the spinal column. The box is in phenomenal condition considering the age of the piece. There is minor cosmetic damage to the outside of the box, however the original label is well preserved. All of the bones are in great condition and feature a yellow patina.
