This was one of the first commercially available bone boxes produced in the 1920s. Typically these boxes would be purchased by medical students to further their studies. The piece is composed of half of a skeleton, including the spinal column. It is presumed to have been prepared by the British scientific supply company Millikin& Lawley. The box is in good condition considering the age of the piece. All of the bones are in great condition and feature a dark patina.
