Skull with medical carvings (34457)

Tonights speciel thing, is a human skull excavated in one of the most northern parts of Denmark called Vendsyssel in the 1960’s.
The area is now referred to as Vester Hassing, but the original settlement, church and cemetery was decommissioned as far back as year 1200.
It’s very interesting glaring at this skull, it was once part of a woman my age (40) around 820 years ago.
The skull was handed to me in a plastic bag, fragmented and fragile, but was skillfully mounted with handmade brass hardware by my very talented This piece is in excellent condition, and looks absolutely stunning. It is a fascinating example of master craftsmanship, and is quite impressive.
